Opening hours in winter

Akureyri Museum, Nonni's house, The Museum Church and Akureyri Industrial Museum are open daily in winter from 13-16.

One ticket to the museums - valid as long as you have the ticket! And there is free coffee! Yes free!

There are 5 exhibitions at Akureyri Museum two permanent exhibitions, Akureyri the Town by the Bay and The musical town. In addition there isa variation of short time exhibitions, Schulte collection of antique maps, Christmas traditions, photographic exhibitions etc.

Nonni's house one of Akureyri's oldest buildings tells the story of the most famous person from Akureyri - Nonni (hence the name of the house) who published books in surprisingly many countries.
