Haustverkin í Laufási – Traditional Autumn Activities at Laufás

Það er alltaf gaman að heimsækja sögustaðinn Laufás og enn skemmtilegra sunnudaginn 13. september frá 13-16.

Þjóðháttafélagið Handraðinn glæðir bæinn lífi með haustverkunum. Sláturgerð, berjahreinsun og skyrgerð ásamt fleiru. Pólar-hestar teyma undir frá 14-16.

A visit to the historic site of Laufás is always a treat even more so on Sunday, 13 September, from 1–4 pm.

The Folk Traditions Society, Handraðinn, brings the old turf farm to life with traditional autumn activities, including making Icelandic haggis, sorting berries and making skyr, along with much more.

Pólar Hestar will offer led horse rides from 2–4 pm.

Waffles and hot chocolate will be served in the Visitor Centre.

Laufás is open daily from 11 am–5 pm.

Your admission ticket gives you access to all seven museums and is valid until the end of the year.
